Today, November 9, 2021, Romanian IGSU, Ministry of Internal Affairs signed the contract to acquire 12 medium-heavy multi-mission Black Hawk helicopters from Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, which will be built in Poland by PZL Mielec Company. The maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) will be established at ROMAERO S.A.
This acquisition is part of a larger program to equip and upgrade the General Emergency Management Inspectorate – IGSU with the best products and already includes up to 10 #H135 lightweight helicopters acquired from Airbus Helicopters Romania.
All mentioned companies will be present at BSDA 2022!
